Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion by identifying and creating new business opportunities in the Agro Industries Domain. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The role is based in Pune, Maharashtra, India and is a full-time position.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the Agro Industries Domain.
Strong knowledge of the agricultural industry, including micro irrigation and agro industries.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop and implement business development strategies.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Ability to conduct market research and analysis.
Proven track record of successful sales and business development.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as required.
Roles And Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and building relationships with potential clients.
identify opportunities and develop relationships with Institutional investors and investment consultants in assigned institutional market channels.
Develop sales strategies, set sales targets, train and mentor sales representatives, and monitor the team's performance
Lead the business development activities, including market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning.
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote the company's products and services and generate leads.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients to ensure profitable deals and sustainable business relationships.
Collaborate with the internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Stay updated with industry developments, including new technologies and market trends, to drive innovation and business growth.
Achieve individual and team targets for revenue growth and business expansion.,
