Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and qualify leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals. Identify potential clients and business opportunities within the civil construction sector through market research, networking, and industry contacts. Develop and maintain a database of prospective clients and opportunities. 3. Sales Operations: Oversee the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business development targets in the civil construction industry. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to prospective clients. Collaborate with the marketing and project management teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. 2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Conduct regular follow-ups and site visits to maintain client engagement and satisfaction. Understand client needs and requirements to tailor solutions and services accordingly. Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns. 3. Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for clients. Present proposals to clients and negotiate terms to secure contracts and agreements. 4. Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. Monitor project progress and address any issues or concerns that may arise. 5. Networking and Business Development Activities: Attend architect meeting. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate business leads. Represent the company professionally and promote its services to potential clients and partners. 6. Market Expansion Strategies: Identify opportunities for market expansion and develop strategies to penetrate new markets and geographic regions. Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets and develop plans to achieve them. 7. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and business performance. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize business development strategies. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development within the civil construction industry. Proven track record of securing and managing large-scale construction projects. Skills: Strong understanding of the civil construction industry and market dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and project management skills. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is preferred.
