We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales and marketing initiatives across the East, West, and South zones of India in the jewelry industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a deep understanding of regional markets, and a proven track record in the jewelry sector. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify new business opportunities, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets in the assigned zones.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and partnerships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the jewelry industry.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
2.Marketing & Brand Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement regional marketing campaigns.
Develop and execute promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as necessary.
3.Client Relationship Management:
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by managing client expectations and providing excellent post-sales support.
Regularly meet with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
4.Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals within the region.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
Provide regular feedback and reports to senior management on business performance and strategic initiatives.
5.Market Expansion & Strategy:
Identify and capitalize on market expansion opportunities within the assigned regions.
Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the jewelry industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the East, West, and/or South zones.
Experience working in a regional role with a deep understanding of the cultural and business nuances in these zones.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and trends.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.,
