Business Development Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by building lasting client relationships, managing leads, and converting them into successful business partnerships. This role involves creating impactful pitch presentations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the development of new products and services based on market demands. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for driving negotiations, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the alignment of sales and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Proactively reach out to clients and build lasting relationships to drive business growth.
Understand client requirements and provide optimal solutions to address their needs.
Lead Management:
Efficiently manage leads and convert them into successful business partnerships.
Identify new business opportunities through client referrals, business groups (e.g., BNI, Saturday Club), and exhibitions.
Sales and Negotiation:
Schedule and conduct a high volume of sales meetings to drive sales closures.
Drive negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes and successful sales closures.
Set ambitious sales goals in alignment with company objectives and develop actionable plans to achieve set targets.
Presentation and Collaboration:
Create impactful pitch presentations that effectively communicate value propositions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive and compelling presentations.
Work closely with the Marketing team to align sales and marketing activities and enhance visibility.
Market Research and Strategy:
Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Draft comprehensive digital marketing plans and proposals based on thorough research.
Tailor strategies to align with client briefs and maximize results.
Data, MIS & Process:
Develop and oversee the implementation of efficient sales processes.
Regularly assess and optimize processes to improve productivity and effectiveness.
To ensure accurate and efficient tracking of sales metrics, performance indicators, and operational workflows.
Partnerships and Collaborations:
Establish ties with overseas partners to facilitate prospective collaborations.
Actively contribute to the development of new products/services based on market demands.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
Set clear performance expectations and regularly monitor team progress.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
Achieving Targets:
Develop and implement strategies to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Adjust sales strategies as needed to respond to market changes and ensure target achievement.
Drive accountability within the team by setting individual and team targets, and conducting regular performance reviews.
Collaborate with senior management to align sales targets with overall company goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
Experience in creating impactful presentations and proposals.
Knowledge of market research and digital marketing strategies.
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
