Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
Customize product solutions to meet client requirements.
Provide technical support and training to clients after product installation.
Prepare and submit technical proposals and bids.
Stay informed on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Liaise with the product development team to understand and communicate product capabilities and future developments.
Help in researching and developing new products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a technical sales/support role.
Strong understanding of the company's technical products and a clear ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
Ability to travel as needed to meet clients, attend conferences, and support the sales team.

Work Environment:
This role may require frequent travel to client sites, including overnight stays.
The Sales Engineer will often work in a team environment but will also need to operate independently to complete tasks and projects.
Work hours can extend beyond the typical 9-to-5, especially during end-of-quarter or end-of-year sales pushes, or when traveling.
