    We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our vibrant Ice Cream Division. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market share within your designated territory. Your primary focus will be on achieving sales targets, building strong relationships with key accounts, and leading a team of sales representatives to excel in their roles. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets for the area. Lead from the front in executing promotional campaigns, new product launches, and customer acquisition strategies. Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to meet their sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development. Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services. Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and customers, including retail chain managers and independent store owners. Resolve any issues and complaints in a timely manner. Reporting: Monitor the performance of the sales team and report on key metrics, challenges, and achievements to senior management. Utilize data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments. Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets for your area efficiently, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum impact. Competitive Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences. Adapt strategies as needed to maintain competitive advantage. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and company policies. Uphold the companys reputation by ensuring quality standards are met across all transactions and engagements. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and operational efficiency. Cold Chain Management: Oversee and ensure the integrity of the cold chain during the storage and distribution of ice cream products. This includes monitoring freezer conditions, managing freezer stock, and ensuring all products are stored and transported at the correct temperatures to maintain quality and prevent spoilage. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance schedules for freezers and cold storage systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment issues in collaboration with technical teams. Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce strict safety regulations and procedures for handling and storing products in cold environments. Ensure all team members are trained on best practices for cold storage management. Qualifications: A Bachelors degree, with preference in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven track record of success in a sales management role, preferably in the FMCG sector, with at least 3-5 years of managerial experience. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools. Personal Characteristics: Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven history of achieving sales goals. Passionate about the food and beverage industry, particularly ice cream. Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to think innovatively. Strong ethical standards and a professional demeanor.,
