The role involves developing sales strategies, identifying market opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients such as hospitals and diagnostic labs. Key duties include managing a sales team, providing product training, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have a background in life sciences or medical technology, strong sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the pathology market. Travel within the assigned region is required. Job Description for the post of ASM - Pathology: 1. Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and market share objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports. 2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions and support. Conduct regular visits to clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. 3. Team Management and Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets. Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills. Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide feedback and coaching. 4. Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Work closely with the marketing team to implement promotional activities and campaigns.
