Job Description:
The Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with corporate clients. This role involves delivering tailored financial solutions, ensuring exceptional service, and driving business growth. The Relationship Manager will be the primary liaison between the bank and its corporate clients, focusing on understanding client needs and providing strategic financial advice.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and sustain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their business needs and financial objectives.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing high-quality service and support.
Conduct regular client meetings to review their financial status, address issues, and identify opportunities for additional services.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new corporate clients and expand existing relationships.
Promote and sell corporate banking products and services such as business loans, credit facilities, treasury solutions, and trade finance.
Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
Customized Financial Solutions:
Collaborate with internal teams to create and deliver customized financial solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
Provide clients with advice on financial strategies, including investment, risk management, and capital structure.
Service Delivery and Coordination:
Ensure that all client transactions and service requests are handled efficiently and in accordance with bank policies.
Coordinate with various departments (e.g., credit, risk, operations) to ensure seamless delivery of banking services and solutions.
Market and Industry Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors that impact corporate clients.
Use market insights to provide valuable advice and support to clients, helping them navigate financial challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
Risk Management:
Assess and manage risks associated with client relationships and transactions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management procedures.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, transactions, and communications.
Prepare and present reports on client activities, portfolio performance, and business development efforts to senior management.
Skills Required:
Proven experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of corporate banking products and services, including loans, credit facilities, cash management, and trade finance.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
