- Trade Air (IFSC) is a registered stockbroker and investment manager at GIFT City IFSC. We seek an experienced candidate to handle Business Development & Marketing out of this newly formed SEZ for our Mumbai location who will lead and execute the strategic initiatives to drive growth, market presence, and revenue for our hedge fund and broker-dealer fund. This leadership role will involve identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and potential investors, developing innovative marketing strategies, and enhancing brand visibility. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial markets, strong leadership skills, and a track record of successfully scaling businesses in the finance industry.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within the hedge fund and broker-dealer sectors.
Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base, focusing on institutional investors, HNWIs, and family offices.
Build strong relationships with prospective and existing investors, partners, and financial institutions.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between business development goals and operational capabilities.
Marketing Leadership:
Design, implement, and manage marketing strategies to position the company as a leader in the financial services industry.
Lead branding initiatives to elevate the firm's market presence and enhance brand reputation.
Oversee the creation and management of marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, digital content, and investment literature.
Utilize digital marketing, public relations, and social media to promote the companys value propositions and thought leadership.
Monitor marketing performance and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights and KPIs.
Investor Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, ensuring that communications are clear, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Lead investor presentations, pitch meetings, and industry conferences to showcase the firms value and performance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and investor concerns.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing investors to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Manage and mentor a team of business development and marketing professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Work closely with senior management to align business development and marketing efforts with overall business goals.
Coordinate with other departments such as compliance, legal, and operations to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
4+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the hedge fund, private equity, or financial services sectors.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, hedge funds, and broker-dealer environments.
Proven track record of successfully leading business development efforts, closing deals, and driving revenue growth.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.

Hours of work: Monday to Saturday - 10:30 AM to 07:30 PM. Saturday 5-6 Hours
Salary varies by depth of experience/skills and last drawn CTC
