Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business development executive will search for new business opportunities and expand the clientele for the organisation. They will deploy strategies to drive financial growth and build long term relationships with clients.

The role will be focused on driving business for the digital marketing and artist management segment of the company. This will include leveraging expertise and communications to bring in sponsorships for existing social media pages and increasing the companys digital marketing business by bringing in new clients.
Job Responsibilities

 Identifying, creating, and leading sales opportunities for financial growth and increasing the clientele base of the company

 Maintain relationships with clients, arrange meetings and address their needs effectively.

 Conduct research to identify new markets/geographies for doing events and promoting the talent pool of the company.

 Strong ability to pursue sponsorships for social media pages and artists. of the company.

 Prepare sales contracts in line with the established rules.

 Prepare a report for keeping track of revenue, invoices, etc.

 Work with senior management to minimise potential risks arising from contracts.
Qualifications and skills

 Degree/certifications in any related field (business, marketing, communications)

 Minimum 3-5 years of work experience as a business development executive or a relevant role preferably in a digital marketing, media, or entertainment company.

 Sound understanding of the media/entertainment segment and market knowledge.

 Good time management and planning skills

 Excellent communication and negotiation skills  verbal, written, e-mail and telephone.

 Experience in the use of relevant tools such as Excel or other relevant software

 Ability to build long-term relationships with clientele,
