Jr. QA Engineer - SDET I (Manual)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SDET I (Manual) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding complex requirements and performing extensive manual testing for various modules, dashboard metrics, reports, and workflows. You will work closely with the Product Team and other internal teams to develop and execute comprehensive test cases, identify and document bugs, and ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration and Requirements Understanding:
 Work closely with the Product Team to understand requirements and testing objectives.
 Collaborate with internal teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to identify system requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.

Test Case Development and Execution:
 Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test cases, ensuring complete coverage of all scenarios.
 Execute manual test cases and report results.

Bug Identification and Documentation:
 Identify, record, thoroughly document, and track bugs.
 Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.
 Perform thorough regression testing to ensure bug resolution and product stability.

Exploratory Testing:
 Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues beyond the predefined test cases.
 Document findings and provide detailed feedback to the development team.

Test Planning and Reporting:
 Participate in test planning and provide input on testing scope and timelines.
 Generate test reports, summarizing testing activities, results, and identified issues.

Others:
 Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in manual testing.
 Suggest improvements to testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.

Requirements:
 Minimum 2+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Engineer focused on manual testing.
 Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and logical reasoning skills.
 Excellent writing and documentation skills; excellent written/verbal communication skills.
 Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
 Disciplined, diligent, and consistent with manual testing practices.
 Ambitious and energetic, with a strong desire to learn and grow in their career.
 Positive attitude, constantly pushing oneself to learn new technologies and embrace and create new processes.
 Passionate about building high-grade products and ensuring their quality through meticulous testing.
 Experience in a product-based company is a bonus.
 Experience using bug-tracking systems (JIRA) is preferred.
 Immediate joinees would be preferable (10-15 days notice period).
