- The client is looking at hiring a Training Manager for their Sales team at Bangalore.
Shift Timings : US Shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of training coordinators and training specialists
Manage and coordinate with internal trainers and Bird enablement team
Plan and execute workshops, seminars, and other training events.
Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the organization
Develop comprehensive training programs and materials that align with organizational goals and objectives
Create or curate engaging training content, including presentations, manuals, online modules, and other instructional materials
Develop and implement methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, such as surveys, assessments, and feedback forms
Analyze training outcomes to determine the impact on employee performance and productivity
Partner with revenue operations and QA and use evaluation data to refine and improve training programs and strategies continuously
Oversee the selection and implementation of training tools, technologies, and learning management systems (LMS)
Provide ongoing development opportunities for the training team to enhance their skills and knowledge
Collaborate with department heads, Sales, Marketing, QA, Product and other stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational goals
Communicate training progress and results to stakeholders and through regular reports and presentations.
Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
Develop and enforce standardized training procedures and protocols
Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in training and development to incorporate new methods and technologies
Identify and implement best practices in training and development to enhance program effectiveness
Support employee career development initiatives by providing relevant training and development opportunities
Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires to ensure they integrate smoothly into the organization
Identify potential risks associated with training programs and develop strategies to mitigate them
Experience:
5+ years of experience in a sales training role
1+ years experience in leadership
Experience designing training programs
Experience engaging with a training cohort remotely
Experience with software vendor, IT Services, SaaS space or system integrator space preferred
Skills & Qualifications:
BA Degree/ Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Strong sales expertise including in depth knowledge of various sales methodologies (SPIN, Challenger, Sandler, Winning by Design etc.)
Hands-on experience in sales and ability to provide real-world examples and insights
Strong communication and presenting skills
Ability to engage with and motivate sales professionals of all levels of experience and tenure,
