Sales Head
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals.
Analyze market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
Provide guidance and training to enhance the skills and performance of team members.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Identify client needs and collaborate with the product or development teams to address them.
Sales Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales department.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize effectiveness.
Business Development:
Explore and establish partnerships with other organizations to expand the company's reach.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports for management.
Provide regular updates on sales performance and market trends.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention.
Contract Negotiation:
Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize and execute contracts.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is often preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in a senior sales management role, preferably in the software industry.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively present to clients and internal stakeholders.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
