Job Details
The Business Development Manager (BDM) in Digital Marketing is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategies to increase the company's market share in the digital marketing sector. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing services and trends, as well as strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
Client Acquisition & Retention:
Identify, target, and engage with prospective clients to generate new business.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Present digital marketing solutions and services to potential clients, tailoring proposals to their specific needs.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
Negotiate terms and close deals with clients.
Track and report on sales performance and client feedback.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth in the digital marketing sector.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective marketing campaigns.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and adjust as needed.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, content, SEO, PPC, and social media, to ensure the successful delivery of services to clients.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
Networking & Industry Engagement:
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its services.
Build a network of industry contacts and leverage these relationships to generate business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the digital marketing industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of digital marketing services and trends, including SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, and analytics.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.,
