Job Overview:
The Digital Marketing Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and maximizing revenue from existing accounts. This role is pivotal in expanding the companys client base, fostering long-term relationships, and delivering tailored digital marketing solutions. The Sales Manager will work closely with the other departments to create compelling pitches and ensure that client needs are met with innovative strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the digital marketing space.
Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the value of the companys services.
Manage the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell digital marketing services to existing clients, increasing account revenue.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any issues.
Revenue Growth:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase overall company revenue.
Monitor and analyse sales performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
Collaborate with the finance team to set realistic revenue projections and budgets.
Sales Strategy & Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Work with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional activities and content marketing initiatives.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience from pitch to execution.
Provide input into the development of new products and services based on client feedback and market demand.
Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on digital marketing trends and sales techniques.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field will be an advantage.
Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in sales, with a focus on digital marketing or related industries.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully onboarding new clients.
Strong understanding of digital marketing services, including SEO, PPC, social media marketing, content marketing, and analytics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a digital marketing agency or similar environment such as media sales.
Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
Established network of contacts within the digital marketing industry.
