The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in SaaS, strong copywriting skills, and a proven track record in driving business growth. As a key player in our startup, youll have the opportunity to shape and influence our trajectory, working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Strategy Development:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
Develop and execute strategic plans to enter new markets or expand existing ones.
Work with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
Lead Generation and Management:
Execute and optimise structured outreach processes to identify, engage, and nurture potential customers.
Utilise AI tools and CRM systems to manage leads, ensuring effective follow-up and conversion.
Email Marketing Campaigns:
Develop, execute, and optimise email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and generate leads.
Use personalised and targeted email sequences to nurture relationships and move prospects through the sales funnel.
Partnership and Relationship Building:
Identify, approach, and develop strategic partnerships that align with Plansoms growth objectives.
Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Sales Enablement and Proposal Development:
Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demos tailored to client needs.
Collaborate with the sales team to close deals, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company offerings.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development activities, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements:
Over four years of experience in SaaS, with a strong business development or sales background.
Exceptional communication and copywriting skills, with experience in crafting persuasive content and presentations.
Proficiency in using sales and marketing tools like Apollo.io, Pipedrive, and AI-powered lead generation platforms.
Proven track record in developing and managing strategic partnerships.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in industries relevant to Plansom's target market.
Demonstrated ability to exceed business development quotas.
Familiarity with AI applications in sales and business development.,
