Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base in Tier 1 cities and beyond. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our business strategy and ensuring the seamless execution of our sales initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Strategy:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, new business opportunities, and industry trends.
Analyze competitor activities and market demands to refine our value proposition and sales strategy.
Develop targeted strategies to approach and acquire potential clients in Tier 1 cities.
2. Lead Generation and Sales:
Proactively generate leads through various channels, including online research, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.
Effectively qualify leads, set up meetings, and follow through on the sales process to close deals.
3. Pitching and Presentations:
Develop and deliver compelling presentations and pitches tailored to the needs and interests of prospective clients.
Confidently present our product offerings, highlight their benefits, and demonstrate their value to potential clients.
Negotiate terms and contracts to secure business partnerships and close sales.
4. Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Continuously gather feedback from clients to improve our offerings and customer satisfaction.
5. Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align on business goals and strategies.
Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to refine product offerings and marketing campaigns.
Contribute to the development of business development processes and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the e-commerce or gifting industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and make data-driven decisions.
Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
