Enterprise Resources Planning Project Manager

KEY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB: We are seeking 2-3 years experienced ERP Project Manager to execute the successful implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for our clients. As the ERP Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating project activities, managing the client, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality ERP systems.

Understand Client Requirements and communicate to Tech department in a document & map with existing product capabilities. The job is to translate the business requirements into features and help product engineering to understand it.

As a mediator, moderator and connector, the PM must bring the business needs together with IT resources. They should act as a bridge between business systems from the end user to functional implementation of technical solutions.

The job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination:
 Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for ERP implementations, considering client requirements and project scope.
 Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones and budget.
 Conduct functional/technical feasibility study for new features of the product
 Prototype the requirements to generate wireframes o Analyse existing system and the proposed system to conduct Gap Analysis

Stakeholder Communication:
 Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and internal project teams.
 Communicate project progress, milestones, and potential issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Team Collaboration:
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, consultants, and support staff, to optimize project performance.

Risk Management:
 Identify potential risks and challenges associated with ERP implementations.
 Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address issues proactively.

Quality Assurance:
 Oversee the testing and validation processes to ensure the ERP system meets quality standards.
 Work closely with the technical team to resolve any issues and ensure a seamless integration of the ERP solution.

Training and Change Management:
 Develop and execute training plans for end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP system.
 Implement change management strategies to minimize resistance and facilitate user adoption.

Documentation:
 Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, BRDs, progress reports, and change requests.
 Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible for future reference. o Document and maintain business model canvas for the product

Post-Implementation Support:
 Provide ongoing support post-implementation to address any issues and ensure client satisfaction.
 Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Skills Required
 Proven experience as an ERP Project Manager, overseeing end to end successful ERP implementations.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
 In-depth knowledge of ERP systems and project management methodologies.
 Ability to analyse and solve problems, adapting to changing project requirements.
 Certification in project management and familiarity with ERP platforms are advantageous.
 Experience in user stories-based requirement generation and Agile based product development
 Ability to be diligent and analytical is very important
 Knack of converting high level and sometimes vague business requirements into functional specifications and/or technical requirements
 Basic knowledge of UX, approaches, and trends and the ability to translate user problems to business requirements and present user-centric solutions
 Should relish turning ambiguous requirements into more concrete and actionable items
 Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively,
