Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of relevant experience in project management and PMO functions. The PMO Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of projects across the organization.
Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Coordination :
Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and milestones
Ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives
Coordinate project resources, activities, and dependencies
Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain accurate project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and status reports
Generate and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders
Conduct project post-mortems and produce lessons learned documentation
Risk Management :
Identify and assess project risks and issues
Develop and implement risk. mitigation strategies
Monitor and report on risk mitigation progress
Quality Assurance :
Establish and enforce project management best practices
Conduct project audits to ensure compliance with established processes
Work with project teams to continuously improve project delivery processes
Stakeholder Communication :
Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management
Organize and lead regular project meetings
Ensure timely and transparent communication of project status
Resource Management :
Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning
Track resource utilization and recommend adjustments as needed
Collaborate with HR to identify and onboard project team members
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
4 - 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on PMO functions
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)
PMI or other project management certifications are a plus
