Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role at Anvi Cybernetics for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager - Data Migration and Data Quality

NOTE: We are focussed only on Data Quality and Data migration experience. Other experience will not fit this role.

The Senior QA Manager - Data Migration, will be responsible for managing the quality assurance activities related to the migration of HR data from the legacy HCM system to the new cloud-based platform. This role involves identifying, tracking, and resolving data defects, while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and accurate data transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Quality Assurance:
 Lead the QA efforts for the data migration, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of employee data across multiple countries.
 Develop and implement a robust data defect management strategy, including identification, prioritization, and resolution of data issues.
 Work closely with the data migration team to validate data mapping, transformation, and loading processes.
 Conduct root cause analysis for data defects and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
 Establish and maintain data quality metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor the migration process and defect resolution.

Team Leadership:
 Initiate and manage data quality and accuracy initiative of this project , providing leadership, guidance, and technical support.
 Collaborate with project teams, including HR, IT, and external vendors, to ensure effective communication and resolution of data quality issues.
 Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and streamline defect management processes.

Stakeholder Communication:
 Act as the main point of contact for all data quality-related concerns, providing regular updates to project managers, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders.
 Prepare and present reports on data quality status, defect trends, and resolution strategies to executive stakeholders.
 Ensure alignment of data quality activities with project timelines and key milestones.

Risk Management:
 Identify potential data quality risks during the migration and develop strategies to mitigate them.
 Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies throughout the migration process.

Qualifications:
 Education:
 Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
 Experience:
 Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on data migration projects.
 Proven track record in managing data quality and defect management for large-scale migration projects, particularly from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
 Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a global QA team.
 In-depth understanding of data migration processes, ETL, and data quality management tools.
 Familiarity with global HR processes and systems.
 Skills:
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards.
 Proficiency in using quality management tools and software.

Preferred Certifications:
 Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE)
 Six Sigma Certification
 Experience with cloud-based HCM systems (desirable but not mandatory)

Work Environment:
 This role requires full-time work from the office to ensure close collaboration with the project team.,
