Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably in the packaging equipment industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships effectively.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand market share.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business. opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential areas for growth and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company objectives.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitors" activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the packaging equipment industry.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on achieving sales targets.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed.
