- Qualifications & Requirements:
A candidate must have a minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mass Communications, Marketing
0-2 years of experience in Business Development, Sponsorship, Client Servicing
Understanding of the principles of marketing
Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques
Good organizational and planning skills.
Knowledge of market research practices and techniques
Knowledgeable on principles, practices and techniques of marketing strategies
Experience analyzing data
Proficient computer skills
Ability to create, manage and coordinate marketing activities and processes to promote TEDxGateway properties.
Skills to analyze, observe and monitoring market trends.
A highly organized, confident self-starter with a professional demeanor and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Organized, self-sufficient, hands-on DIY orientation, trustworthy and reliable.

About the team:
The Partnerships, Sponsorship and Sales team works towards implementing sponsorship and partner activities for the business.
The Partnerships, Sponsorship and Sales team is responsible for identifying sales opportunities across all TEDxGateway events/partnerships. The team consists of a Client Servicing Manager, Partnerships & Sponsorship Manager & Partnerships & Sponsorship Associate. Together, the team Identify and contact corporations, foundations, brands that are not currently working with TEDxGateway. At the same time, the team also works towards making regular contact with current clients to ensure the development and maintenance of a strong relationship and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to these clients.
About the Role: Client Servicing Manager
The Client Servicing Manager play's a key part in the achievement of the initiatives vision, goals and objectives, formulating departmental strategic action plans. They also monitor and evaluate the team plan, ensuring it is adjusted as appropriate and achieved.
The Role Includes:
Identifying appropriate corporate sponsorship opportunities and working with the Head - Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives to agree potential targets and activity.
Identifying sales opportunities across all TEDxGateway events/partnerships and work with the Head - Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives to achieve agreed potential targets.
On agreement, initiate or co-ordinate approaches to potential sponsors/partners and/or their agents.
Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements as requested, ensuring the exchange of approved and signed contracts.
Produce, distribute and manage appropriate sponsorship proposals, agreements and relevant support documentation.
Distribute key aspects of sponsor/partner agreement to relevant staff and ensure that managers and staff are informed, and understand and carry out their key responsibilities.
Keep accurate files and records of all sponsor/partner contracts and negotiations.
Identify and contact corporations, foundations, brands that are not currently working with TEDxGateway.
Make contact and sales by telephoning, meeting or attending relevant exhibitions and events in order to make contact with potential clients.
Deal with incoming queries effectively and provide responses within 24 hours.
Working Hours:
Office Timings- 10am to 7pm
Closer to the event we work on weekends too*,
