- Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Business Development Associate Intern to join our
team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the events industry and possess
excellent communication and negotiation skills. As a Business Development Associate
Intern, you will be responsible for pitching our services to colleges and corporate clients,
fostering relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential college and corporate clients who may
benefit from our artist management and production support services.
- Client Outreach: Proactively reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, and meetings
to introduce our services and establish connections.
- Pitching and Presentations: Create and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to
showcase our offerings to prospective clients.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients,
understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
- Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and client
preferences to tailor pitches effectively.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for
business growth and client acquisition.
- Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up with potential clients, addressing their queries and
concerns, and converting leads into business opportunities.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pitches, and business
development activities, and provide regular reports to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the events and entertainment industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in making cold calls and delivering presentations.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in sales or business development (preferred but not required).
