Job Summary:
The Strategic Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the companys key projects and strategic initiatives. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management expertise, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are aligned with the company's strategic goals and are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
i> Project Management:
Lead and manage multiple high-impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the companys strategic objectives.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
ii> Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize strategic initiatives.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and internal performance data to inform strategic decision-making.
Develop and implement processes that support the execution of strategic goals.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize project outcomes and drive business growth.
ii> Team Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure project alignment and support.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams to drive project success.
Serve as a liaison between management and project teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
iv> Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
Document project progress, lessons learned, and best practices to improve future project management processes.
Ensure all project documentation is up to date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
v> Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline project management processes and improve efficiency.
Implement best practices in project management and strategic planning to enhance overall project delivery.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project management function.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree (MBA) is a plus.
Over 5 years of relevant experience working closely with the CEO, CTO and each business unit heads, combined with a strong background in project management focused on strategic initiatives, preferably within a start-up or fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
