    Job Title: Head of Platform Adoption, New Initiatives, Program and Project Management Department: Digital Learning Location: Mumbai Reports to Position: Business Head and Director, Digital Learning Job Purpose: The Head of Platform Adoption, New Initiatives, Program, and Project Management is responsible for driving the successful adoption of digital platforms, leading innovative new initiatives, and managing large-scale programs and projects within NICMAR's Digital Learning department. This role will also oversee the development of alumni offerings, industry tie-ups, and placement strategies, ensuring these initiatives align with NICMARs strategic goals and deliver measurable impact. The role requires innovative thinking to challenge the status quo, create new business models, and enhance student engagement. Job Outline: Platform Adoption: Develop and implement strategies to maximize user engagement and adoption of NICMARs digital learning platforms. Identify and address barriers to adoption, ensuring platforms are user-friendly and meet the needs of students and faculty. Monitor platform usage and trends, implementing strategies to enhance the overall user experience. New Initiatives: Lead the ideation, evaluation, and implementation of new digital learning initiatives that align with NICMARs strategic goals. Develop innovative solutions that challenge existing educational models, exploring new business approaches and ways to engage students. Conduct feasibility studies and secure buy-in from senior leadership for new projects. Oversee the planning, execution, and scaling of new initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Program and Project Management: Manage large-scale digital learning programs and projects from conception to completion, ensuring they align with NICMARs objectives. Establish and maintain project governance structures as needed. Develop detailed project plans, define resource requirements, and manage budgets and timelines. Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and accountability. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project objectives are met. Alumni Offerings: Design and implement innovative programs and platforms to engage NICMAR alumni, providing lifelong learning opportunities and professional development. Collaborate with alumni relations teams to create value-added offerings, such as mentorship programs, networking events, and exclusive digital content. Develop strategies to leverage alumni networks for industry insights, partnerships, and career placements. Industry Tie-Ups and Placements: Establish and nurture relationships with industry partners to create opportunities for student internships, placements, and industry-led projects. Work closely with NICMARs placement cell to develop and execute strategies for improving student placement rates and industry engagement. Collaborate with industry partners to co-create curriculum elements that meet market demands and enhance the employability of NICMAR graduates. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all phases of projects and initiatives. Present updates on platform adoption, new initiatives, alumni engagement, industry partnerships, and placements to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including technology vendors, industry partners, alumni, and educational institutions. Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in program and project management, continuously improving processes, tools, and methodologies. Analyze post-implementation results, gather feedback, and refine strategies to ensure ongoing success and relevance of platforms and initiatives. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform future strategies and initiatives. Job Specification: Knowledge/Education: Bachelors degree in project management, business administration, information technology, or a related field. A Masters degree or PMP certification is a plus. Specific Skills: Proven experience in driving platform adoption, managing new initiatives, and leading large-scale programs and projects. Strong understanding of digital platforms, particularly within the education or EdTech sector. Experience in developing and managing alumni engagement programs, industry partnerships, and placement strategies. Exceptional project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Ability to think innovatively and challenge existing business models and processes. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams. Desirable Experience: Experience in the education sector, particularly in digital learning platforms or EdTech. Previous experience in managing digital transformation projects or initiatives. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar educational platforms. Background in alumni relations, industry collaboration, and student placements.
