Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager at Surprise Ville, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients. Your primary focus will be on expanding our client base and increasing revenue. The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
Generate New Business:
Identify potential clients and develop strategies to attract and acquire new business.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through networking and cold calling.
Client Relationship Management:
Establish and nurture relationships with clients to understand their event planning needs.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events.
Provide excellent customer service to maintain long-term client satisfaction.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively selling Surprise Ville's event planning services.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability.
Promotion and Marketing:
Implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and promote Surprise Ville's services.
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and showcase the company.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated and target-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Must have a valid driver's license and own a bike for client visits and business-related travel.
Knowledge of the event planning industry is a plus.
