Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a sales training role
- 1+ years experience in leadership
- Experience designing training programs
- Experience engaging with a training cohort remotely
- Experience with software vendor, IT Services, SaaS space or system integrator space preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of training coordinators and training specialists
- Manage and coordinate with internal trainers and Bird enablement team
- Plan and execute workshops, seminars, and other training events.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the organization
- Develop comprehensive training programs and materials that align with organizational goals and objectives
- Create or curate engaging training content, including presentations, manuals, online modules, and other instructional materials
- Develop and implement methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, such as surveys, assessments, and feedback forms
- Analyze training outcomes to determine the impact on employee performance and productivity
- Partner with revenue operations and QA and use evaluation data to refine and improve training programs and strategies continuously
- Oversee the selection and implementation of training tools, technologies, and learning management systems (LMS)
- Provide ongoing development opportunities for the training team to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with department heads, Sales, Marketing, QA, Product and other stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational goals
- Communicate training progress and results to stakeholders and through regular reports and presentations.
- Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Develop and enforce standardized training procedures and protocols
- Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in training and development to incorporate new methods and technologies
- Identify and implement best practices in training and development to enhance program effectiveness
- Support employee career development initiatives by providing relevant training and development opportunities
- Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires to ensure they integrate smoothly into the organization
- Identify potential risks associated with training programs and develop strategies to mitigate them
Skills & Qualifications
- BA Degree/ Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Strong sales expertise including in depth knowledge of various sales methodologies (SPIN, Challenger, Sandler, Winning by Design etc)
- Hands-on experience in sales and ability to provide real-world examples and insights
- Strong communication and presenting skills
- Ability to engage with and motivate sales professionals of all levels of experience and tenure
- Ability to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity
- Partnering across the organization and with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas
- Tech-savvy with an affinity for innovative and emerging technology
- Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional; able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Fluent English Speaker with additional language a benefit
- Proficient in basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, GSuite, and general sales tools such as CRMs.
Qualification: Any Gradution
