Android Architect Role and Responsibilities:
As Android Architect:

Define the technical architecture and design of our Android applications, including the selection of appropriate technologies, frameworks, and APIs

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure that technical requirements are understood and incorporated into the application architecture

Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team to ensure that code is efficient, scalable, and maintainable

Ensure that the Android applications meet technical requirements, including performance, security, and compliance with industry best practices and standards

Collaborate with the product management team to ensure that the Android applications align with the company's business objectives

Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and APIs, identifying. opportunities for innovation and optimization

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications

Manage relationships with external partners and vendors involved in Android application development

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, ensuring that team members are trained and capable of delivering high-quality code

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Must-Have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

At least 8 years of experience in Android application development, with at least 3 years in an architect role

Strong understanding of Android platform development, including architecture, APIs, and libraries

Experience with software design patterns, such as MVVM and Clean Architecture

Experience with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

Experience leading and mentoring development teams

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform

Understanding of software design principles and UX best practices

Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable Android applications

Preferred Skills
 Experience in working at Media and Communication / broadcast business domain 8  15 years,
