Website Designer

Key Responsibilities:
 Design & Development:
 Create visually engaging website layouts and design elements that align with client goals and branding.
 Develop responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes.
 Design and optimize graphics, images, and multimedia content for web use.
 Client Collaboration:
 Communicate with clients to understand their design preferences, brand identity, and functional requirements.
 Present design concepts and iterate based on client feedback.
 Ensure that designs align with the client's vision and project specifications.
 Technical Implementation:
 Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement designs and make adjustments as needed.
 Work with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal to build and manage websites.
 Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and optimized for performance and load times.
 Quality Assurance:
 Test and troubleshoot website issues across different browsers and devices.
 Maintain and update websites as necessary, including performing regular backups and updates.
 Ensure adherence to web standards, accessibility guidelines, and best practices.
 Team Collaboration:
 Work with developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery.
 Provide input on project timelines and manage design-related tasks effectively.

Qualifications:
 Proven experience as a Website Designer or similar role.
 Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and experience with web design projects.
 Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, or Figma.
 Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
 Experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
 Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal) and website builders (e.g., Wix, Squarespace) is a plus.
 Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:
 Experience with UX/UI design principles and user-centered design.
 Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimization techniques.
 Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
 Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation) is a plus.
