Website Designer and Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Website Developer and Designer Executive to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the design, development, and maintenance of our websites to ensure optimal performance, user experience, and visual appeal. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, along with a keen eye for design.

Key Responsibilities:
 Website Development:
 Develop, test, and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
 Implement and manage content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
 Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and SEO.
 Website Design:
 Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces in line with the companys branding and aesthetic guidelines.
 Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new website features and improvements.
 Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate design elements and ensure a cohesive online presence.
 Project Management:
 Manage multiple web projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
 Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, and content creators to gather requirements and deliver projects.
 Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve issues, ensuring websites remain up-to-date and functional.
 Technical Expertise:
 Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality and performance.
 Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
 Implement security measures to protect websites against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
 Analytics and Reporting:
 Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics.
 Generate reports on website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to inform improvements and strategies.
 Use data-driven insights to optimize website features and design.

Qualifications:
 Bachelors degree in Web Development, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
 Proven experience as a website developer and designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
 Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
 Experience with back-end development, including server-side languages like PHP, Python, or Ruby, and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
 Strong knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.).
 Excellent design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or other design tools.
 Familiarity with SEO principles and tools.
 Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
 Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento.
 Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
 Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
 Experience with API integration and development.
