Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts from within the office environment. You will drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction. Additionally, you will oversee the performance of the inside sales team, track sales targets, and provide ongoing training to enhance team effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive account management. Address client inquiries and concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Sales Growth: Identify new business opportunities and generate leads to expand our client base. Implement strategic sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Solution Offering: Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and challenges. Present and recommend tailored IT solutions that align with their objectives and provide value.
Contract Negotiation: Manage the negotiation and closing of sales agreements, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with client expectations.
Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics for your accounts and the inside sales team. Provide regular reports on sales achievements, account status, and growth opportunities to senior management.
Team Management: Oversee the inside sales teams activities, including setting sales targets and tracking progress. Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they meet their objectives.
Training and Development: Conduct periodic training sessions for the inside sales team to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques. Stay informed on industry best practices to continually improve team performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing and technical support, to ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions and resolution of any issues that arise.
Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Utilize this knowledge to inform your sales strategies and position [Company Name] effectively in the market.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in inside sales or account management, preferably in the IT or technology sector. Previous experience in team management or leadership is advantageous.
Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of IT solutions, services, and industry trends.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain effective client relationships.
Leadership: Experience in tracking sales targets, managing team performance, and providing training to sales professionals.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing client needs and team challenges.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. Relevant certifications or additional qualifications are a plus.
