Job Details
The Area Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a designated area. This includes managing relationships with key clients, acquiring new customers, and coordinating with the sales team to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand competitors.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Understand customer needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
Team Coordination:
Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
Provide training and support to sales representatives.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., marketing, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Monitor and report on competitors activities and market trends.
Compliance and Ethics:
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain high ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role.
Experience in managing and growing customer accounts.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the relevant industry.
Additional certifications in sales or marketing.
Working Conditions:
This role may require travel within the designated area.
Flexibility to work extended hours if needed.
