Assistant Manager Quality Assurance

At Heraeus Electro-Nite India, we are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Assistant Manager  Quality Assurance. This role is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

What will you do 
 Developing and Implementing QA Policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Ensuring that all products and services comply with quality standards and regulations. This may involve reviewing specifications, conducting inspections, and assessing processes.
 To Conducting regular audits and reviews of processes, procedures, and products to identify areas for improvement or non-conformance issues.
 Leading initiatives to improve quality processes, enhance product quality, and reduce defects or errors through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
 Collaborating with suppliers to establish quality requirements and standards, conducting audits of suppliers, and addressing supplier quality issues. Managing customer feedback and complaints regarding product quality, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions.
 Identifying and mitigating quality risks associated with product design, manufacturing processes, and supply chain activities.
 Collaborating with other departments such as production, engineering, and regulatory affairs to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
 Fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization by promoting awareness, accountability, and commitment to quality excellence.
 Leading or participating in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.

Who are we looking for 
 Minimum of an Engineer degree (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), or related degree in Quality Assurance / Quality Management field.
 7  8 years experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Management field from automotive or relevant industry.
 Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) is desirable.
 Six Sigma certifications (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) which demonstrate proficiency in process improvement methodologies and Regulatory affairs certifications (e.g., ISO standards) is added advantage.
 Deep understanding of industry-specific quality standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to the organization.
 Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team, excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
 Proficiency in root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to identify and resolve quality issues.
 Experience in project management to oversee quality improvement projects and initiatives effectively.
 Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high standards of quality.
 Continuous learner with a proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends and developments.
 Open to travel to our 4 production sites across the country.
