As the Architect for Platform Engineering, you will lead cloud-infrastructure operations and development efforts for critical website and data-pipeline platforms. To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with web developers, data engineers, and product managers to plan and implement your. cutting-edge technical solutions and operations plans. And as a senior engineering leader, you will have the opportunity to mentor and share your knowledge and expertise. Your contributions will be essential to the continued growth and success of our data platform, and you will play a pivotal role in shaping its future direction.

This will be a hybrid role in our Pune office.

What Youll Do
 Define and implement a robust cloud architecture strategy, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of critical systems
 Oversee the design, development, testing, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure solutions
 Leverage SaaS and professional services to compliment your teams bandwidth and expertise
 Establish and enforce standards and governance processes
 Work closely with business leaders, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to capture technical requirements and formulate solutions that meet business objectives
 Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
 Implement monitoring and performance optimization processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of data processing systems
 Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
 Manage and monitor operating costs
 Implement and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive information
 Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the data engineering function, exploring new technologies and methodologies

What You Have
 Proven record of success engineering fault-tolerant cloud solutions
 Experience developing business solutions with core AWS technologies, IAM, S3, EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway
 Expertise with Infrastructure as Code  CDK, CloudFormation, SAM, Terraform
 Expertise with Python or another high-level language
 Experience developing cloud services, APIs, and automated processes
 CI/CD experience with Bitbucket or Github
 Proficiency in communicating complex technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders
 Experience leading technical projects and supporting agile engineering lifecycles
 Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results
 Meticulous, organized, proactive, and a critical thinker with a high level of attention to detail
 2+ years of experience managing a team
 10+ years of experience building and supporting technical solutions in production environments
 Masters degree in computer science or equivalent
 AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification a plus.
