Data Entry Specialist -Student Application

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The Data Entry Specialist will play a crucial role in our application submission process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling student application documents.

Responsibilities:
 Enter and manage student application data accurately and efficiently into the organization's database or management system.
 Review application materials, including transcripts, recommendation letters, essays, and other required documents, for completeness and compliance with program requirements.
 Verify the accuracy of applicant information and resolve any discrepancies or errors promptly.
 Communicate effectively with internal team members and external stakeholders to obtain missing or additional information as needed.
 Maintain confidentiality and data security protocols to protect sensitive applicant information.
 Assist with organizing and maintaining electronic and physical. records of student applications.
 Provide administrative support to the admissions team as necessary, including filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks.

Qualifications:
 High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
 Proven experience in data entry or administrative support role, preferably in an educational or admissions setting.
 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
 Proficiency in using computer software and data management systems.
 Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
 Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
