Motion Graphic Specialist

We are a group at IISc, Bengaluru developing affordable and innovative products for people with

diabetes. Our mission is to enhance the lives of our users through technology and empathetic care. We are currently developing educational and communication videos for our respective stakeholders and are looking for a talented intern to join our team.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented motion graphics and videography Intern to help create educational content for our website. This role involves developing motion graphics, photography, and producing real-life tutorial videos, including video shoots, editing, and sound design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to understand project requirements and objectives.

- Create and design engaging animations and motion graphics for our educational videos.

- Craft videos, including planning, shooting, and capturing high-quality footage.

- Edit video content to ensure smooth flow, clear messaging, and high production value.

- Incorporate sound design elements to enhance video content.

- Perform photography tasks as needed to support video and marketing content.

- Ensure all content aligns with our brand guidelines and maintains a high standard of quality.

- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance our educational materials.

- Create documentation as per regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Motion Graphic Design, Film Production, Animation, or a related field.

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

- Basic knowledge of sound design and audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition).

- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with photography and photo editing software.

- Knowledge of 3D animation software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D).

- Understanding of lighting and camera equipment.

- Prior experience in creating educational or tutorial videos.
