Key Responsibilities:

1. Backend Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js backend code.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.

- Implement and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

2. API Development:

- Develop and. maintain robust APIs to support various applications and services.

- Ensure seamless integration of backend services with front-end applications.

3. Database Management:

- Design and implement database schemas for optimal performance.

- Perform database administration tasks, including migrations, indexing, and optimization.

4. Code Quality and Testing:

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

- Conduct thorough unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

5. Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Node.js backend development.

2. Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

3. Strong proficiency in databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

4. Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

5. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

6. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with microservices architecture.

2. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

3. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

4. Previous experience in e-commerce or fintech industries is a plus.
