Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer - Testing in Bengaluru. The Software Engineer - Testing will be responsible for designing and developing software tests, setting up automated test environments, reporting and documenting software defects, and collaborating with other developers in an Agile environment.
 Understand the requirement in detail and perform quality tasks, encompassing Functionality Testing,
 API's Integration, Micro services and Mobile App Testing.
 Ownership of end-to-end delivery from the quality perspective.
 Build tools and frameworks to support testing and automation
 Ability to come up with corner. scenarios to deliver great product to our end users.
 Delivering great software with a strong sense of ownership.
 Analyse software quality requirements and test plans
 Proven experience in test development with Java and Python.
 Experience in API testing and validating Rest/Soap services using Rest Assured | Http Client.
 Experience in automation testing of mobile native and hybrid applications using Appium.
 Hands on experience in building advanced automation tools and frameworks.
 Understand object oriented programming and working with test automation frameworks.
 Execute and maintain the automation test suite to ensure desired level of quality and test coverage.
 Collaborate closely with the scrum team to drive testability in solution design and promote best test engineering practices in the development process.
 Experience working with an Agile, CI/CD and DevOps environment.
 Assist the team in automating the identify test cases and reviewing code
 Understanding of financial markets, experience in testing of banking software a plus.

 Computer Science and Software Development skills
 Back-End Web Development skills
 Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
 Experience in testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG
 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
 Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience with Agile development methodologies, cloud computing, and DevOps practices would be beneficial,
