Role Description

This is a remote full-time contract role for a GCP Data Engineer with one. of our clients. The GCP Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale cloud data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and ensure their performance, availability, scalability, and resilience. The GCP Data Engineer will also provide technical leadership, best practices, guidelines, and support to the development of cloud-based data analytics teams and products.

Qualifications
 Bachelor's or a Master's degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
 At least 4 years of experience in building and maintaining large-scale distributed data processing systems
 Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, database technologies, and SQL
 Proficiency with GCP data processing technologies like BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer
 Experience with deploying machine learning models and data pipelines on GCP
 Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
 Experience with version control tools like Git and software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
 Proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget
 Relevant Google Cloud Certifications are a plus,
