About this team:

The Enterprise Monitoring Solutions team at FIS is responsible for providing monitoring and observability solutions that are geared towards prevention of incidents and reduction of MTTR. We work with various business units and technology teams across FIS to deliver end-to-end visibility into the performance, availability and health of our systems and services. We leverage cutting-edge technologies to build scalable and reliable solutions that enable detect problems proactively, faster troubleshooting, root cause analysis and incident resolution.

What you will be doing:
 Designing and building simple, elegant and maintainable solutions in a holistic manner.
 Working on both the front-end and back-end aspects of our monitoring and observability platform, using modern web development technologies and practices.
 Collaborating with other developers, engineers, architects and product owners to deliver features and enhancements that meet the needs and expectations of our internal and external customers.
 Contributing to the continuous improvement of our code quality, performance, security and reliability.

What you bring:
 At least 7 to 10 years of experience in full stack web development, with a high degree of proficiency in Python.
 Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web development frameworks such as Django, React, or Angular.
 Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
 Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
 Experience with version control, testing, debugging and deployment tools such as Git, Jenkins, Selenium or Docker
 Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
 A passion for learning new technologies and best practices.
 A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Added bonus if you have:
 Exposure to full stack observability and concepts such as OpenTelemetry, tracing, metrics, logging and alerting.
 Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk or New Relic.
 Experience with Messaging Solutions such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
 Understanding of networking concepts such asOSI layers, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, load balancing and firewalls.
 Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
 Certifications or courses in web development, cloud computing or monitoring and observability.
