Data Science Trainer

ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Data Science Mentor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Data Science, Python, Statistics, Machine Learning, Power BI, Advanced Excel coupled with the ability to guide and support learners through their data science journey. This role involves providing mentorship, developing training materials, and ensuring the curriculum stays current with industry advancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Mentorship and Guidance:
 Provide one-on-one and group mentorship sessions to learners, helping them navigate their data science learning path.
 Offer career advice, industry insights, and support to help learners achieve their professional goals.
 Curriculum and Content Development:
 Design and update the data science curriculum to keep it current, comprehensive, and aligned with industry standards.
 Develop high-quality training materials, including tutorials, manuals, and online resources.
 Project Oversight:
 Evaluate learners" projects and assessments, providing feedback and support.
 Assist learners in developing their portfolios by guiding them through real-world data science projects.
 Continuous Improvement:
 Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in data science.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Education:
 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
 Experience:
 Proven experience in data science, with a strong portfolio of projects.
 Previous experience in a mentorship role, preferably in a data science-related field is preferred.
 Skills:
 In-depth knowledge of data science tools and technologies such as Python, SQL, Statistics, and others.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
