About the company:


As a Backend Engineer at Merge, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionising financial transactions for businesses through our advanced B2B fintech solutions. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to designing and implementing robust API solutions that enhance efficiency and scalability for our B2B clients.
 Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
 4-5 years of proven experience in backend development using Go and/or Python, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles.
 Experience developing and maintaining APIs for B2B platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability.
 Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
 Knowledge of database systems, both relational and NoSQL, and proficiency in SQL.
 Experience working with distributed datastore and messaging systems (eg. HBase, Kafka, Elasticsearch, etc.)
 Previous exposure to fintech environments is advantageous but optional.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
 Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.
