About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer

(SDE III) specialising in Machine Learning to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in AI and ML, with additional experience in developing audio and video AI applications being a significant advantage. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising ML models and solutions that drive our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities
 ML Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms for various applications, including audio and video processing.
 Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML, and apply them to create innovative solutions.
 Data Analysis: Perform data collection, preprocessing, and analysis to build robust datasets for training and validating ML models.
 Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate ML solutions into products.
 Optimise and Scale: Optimise ML models for performance and scalability in production environments.
 Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
 Mentor and Guide: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior ML engineers and team members.
 Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ML models, algorithms, and workflows.

Required Qualifications
 Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 1.5 years in AI and ML.
 Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
 Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
 Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
 Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for deploying ML models.
 Audio and Video AI: Experience in developing and deploying AI applications for audio and video processing is a significant advantage.
 Performance Optimization: Demonstrated experience in optimising ML models for performance and scalability.
 Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
 Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
 Agility: Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications
 Education:Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine

Learning, or a related field.
 Additional Skills: Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision (CV) applications.
 Performance Monitoring: Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques for ML models.
