Job Summary: The Overseas Business Development Executive is responsible for expanding the company's presence in international markets. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with overseas clients, and driving sales to achieve the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis: Identify and evaluate new international markets and business opportunities. Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
Client Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new overseas clients and partners. Target key markets and industries that align with the company's offerings.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with international clients, ensuring long-term partnerships. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in overseas markets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals and objectives.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that meet the companys strategic goals.
Project Coordination: Work closely with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of international projects and transactions.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all international trade activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify and mitigate potential risks in overseas transactions.
Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, market insights, and sales performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: Proven track record in business development or sales, with significant experience in international markets. Experience in the logistics or trade industry is a strong advantage.
Skills:
Deep understanding of global trade regulations, logistics processes, and supply chain management.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
