Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
Conduct regular visits to clients to promote products and address any concerns or inquiries.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives within the assigned area.
Provide training, coaching, and guidance to the sales team to enhance their performance.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and set clear objectives for team members.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and activities.
Participate in medical conferences, seminars, and other industry events to promote the companys products.
Ensure that all promotional activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance sales performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Area Business Manager or in a similar sales role within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
