    About the Role: Position Title: Market, industry, and best practice research Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President Location: Bengaluru Job Profile MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: This position will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's strategic HR initiatives by providing in depth market, industry, and HR practice research. This position is designed for a dynamic professional who is ready to dive into data collection and analysis to provide actionable insights across various HR topics such as, but not limited to, recruitment, talent management, performance & rewards, culture, organizational design, and future of work in the financial services industry. This position will collaborate closely with HR Centers of Expertise (CoEs) and country-specific HR teams to deliver data-driven insights to support our strategic decisions. This position will also act as an independent third party to perform job evaluations globally, focusing on MD promotion processes, new position creation, and organizational restructures. The role ensures that the relative values of jobs are correctly sized within the overall organizational structure and that the total rewards structure is aligned from both internal and external perspectives. The specialist will liaise with HR Business Partners (HRBP), HR Solutions, and business units to gather necessary information and escalate major discrepancies to the service owner for approval. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Support the formulation and execution of long-term organizational strategies, ensuring alignment with departmental goals, processes, and resource allocation. Conduct comprehensive research and analyses to evaluate operational effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization, while keeping abreast of market trends, competitive landscapes, threats, and opportunities. Foster consultative relationships with key business stakeholders, proactively identifying and addressing business intelligence (BI) and data visualization needs to meet organizational objectives and comply with regulatory standards. Undertake data preparation tasks, including sourcing, scrubbing, mining, and integrating relevant data sources, to facilitate the development and delivery of effective BI and data visualization solutions. Engage in proof-of-concept projects to evaluate, test, and potentially adopt emerging BI and advanced data visualization tools, aiming to enhance decision-making processes and operational efficiency. Contribute to the creation and delivery of BI reports and dashboards, ensuring they are tailored to support strategic decisions and operational needs. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate ideas and business needs into meaningful report/dashboard designs and data requirements, streamlining and automating reporting processes as necessary to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. Participate in the development of a change management process that enables business leaders to propose, discuss, and implement new metrics or modifications to existing metrics, supporting the organization's adaptive and strategic needs. Assist in establishing a standardized process for defining data requirements, managing data governance, and creating BI reports and dashboards, ensuring consistent and reliable data-driven insights across the organization. Identify and propose innovative solutions to complex design problems related to BI and advanced data visualization, enhancing the organization's analytical capabilities and strategic insight. Act as an independent third party to perform job evaluations globally for MD promotion processes, new position creation, and organizational restructures. Ensure that the total rewards structure is aligned properly from both internal and external perspectives. Escalate major discrepancies in views to the service owner for approval. WORK EXPERIENCE: Essential: Significant experience in strategic planning or business analysis, ideally within a large financial institution or a heavily regulated environment. Demonstrated track record in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale business intelligence (BI) and data visualization programs. Proven ability to work in complex business and technology environments and to influence non-technical aspects of technology change. Experience in collaborating effectively with technical, customer, and functional teams. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Functional / Technical Competencies: Essential Demonstrable Strengths Deep understanding of business operations and procedures, with strong research, organizational, and planning skills. Proficiency in enterprise dashboard and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Workiva, QlikView, Oracle Business Intelligence, or Business Objects), and familiarity with a wide range of analytics, BI, and big data technologies. Knowledge in metadata process, data lineage, and traceability repositories and technologies. Exposure to Hadoop or other big data and cloud computing technology is a plus. Expert user in Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, and Excel. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess problems and define and execute innovative, yet pragmatic solutions. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement. Ability to take a structured and logical approach to work, manage large workloads and tight deadlines, and perform well in a pressurized environment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with flexibility to work well independently as well as with others. Education / Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience is required, Masters degree beneficial. Preference for an undergraduate degree in business, finance, statistics, operations research, data science, computer science, or a related STEM discipline. Excellent organizational skills, with a structured and logical approach to work. Ability to manage large workloads and tight deadlines. Possess flexibility to work well independently and in teams. PERFORMANCE AND DUTIES: The role holder will be assessed in accordance with their employing entitys performance framework and process, with relevant input obtained from the dual-hatting entity as relevant. As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and emended in consultation with the role holder. The role holder will carry out other duties as are within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the role as requested by their line manager or Department Head.,
