Job Description:

As an AI/ML Engineer specializing in video analytics at Brihaspathi, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and AI systems specifically tailored for CCTV cameras. Your work will focus on enhancing video analytics features such as object detection, facial recognition, behavior analysis, and real-time alerts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these capabilities into our security products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop machine learning models for video analytics features such as object detection, facial recognition, motion detection, and behavior analysis.

- Implement advanced algorithms for real-time processing of video streams from CCTV cameras.

- Collaborate with data scientists to preprocess and label video data for training and evaluation.

- Deploy and optimize machine learning models in production environments, ensuring they run efficiently on edge devices or cloud platforms.

- Integrate AI/ML models with video management systems (VMS) and other security infrastructure.

- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in video analytics, computer vision, and AI/ML technologies.

- Develop custom solutions for specific video analytics challenges, such as loitering detection, crowd monitoring, and anomaly detection.

- Work closely with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of video analytics features into existing products.

- Provide technical support and training to customers and partners on AI-powered video analytics solutions.

- Document all AI/ML models, processes, and integration procedures thoroughly.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science

- Proven experience as an AI/ML Engineer with a focus on computer vision and video analytics.

- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java, with experience in frameworks such as OpenCV.

- Experience with deploying machine learning models on edge devices and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

- Solid understanding of deep learning, neural networks, and image/video processing techniques.

- Familiarity with big data technologies and real-time data processing frameworks.

- Experience with CCTV camera systems, video management systems (VMS), and security protocols.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with specific video analytics features such as facial recognition, behavior analysis, and object tracking.

- Contributions to open-source projects or published research in the field of computer vision and video analytics.
