Cypress Automation test engineer

Cypress Automation Test Engineer, 4-7yrs, Locations: TVM & KOCHI

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing using Cypress and Typescript and a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies. As a Cypress Automation Tester, he/she will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of the web applications.

Mandatory Skills : Cypress with Typescript Automation testing experience

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks: Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Cypress for web applications.

Create Automated Test Scripts: Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using Cypress.

Execute and Monitor Automated Tests: Run automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects to the development team. Ensure that test cases are executed effectively and efficiently.

Identify Test Scenarios: Identify and prioritize test scenarios for automation based on application functionality.

Bug tracking and reporting: Document and report bugs and issues identified during testing. Work with the development team to resolve issues and validate fixes.

Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of the test scripts and adherence to best practices.

Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
