We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Engineering team in Bangalore, reporting to the director of Agile Release Management. In this role, you will orchestrate the planning, execution, and delivery of innovative technical projects that drive Infobloxs growth and success. You will lead. an Agile Release Train (ART), working with Agile teams, scrum masters, Product owners, Product managers, Engineering leadership, Product Management, Architecture, and IT. You will also foster collaboration, mentor, and coach Agile best practices focused on Scaled Agile.

What youll do:
Direct cross-functional teams of Agile release trains (ARTs) to define delivery scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals
Develop and maintain detailed delivery plans, including task assignments, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient execution
Facilitate Agile practices and ceremonies, such as scrum of scrums, product owner syncs, and ART syncs
Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment by encouraging team members to share ideas, experiment with new approaches, and learn from failures
Coordinate with stakeholders to provide regular status updates, ensuring transparency and clear communication throughout the Program or Practice Increments (PIs)
Ensure that products are delivered on time and within scope and budget while maintaining high-quality standards
Lead post-project reviews, like Inspect and Adapt, to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement
Deliver high-impact technical projects contributing to the organization's strategic goals and overall growth
Manage projects involving multiple ARTs and contribute to successfully launching new products, features, or enhancements, directly influencing our competitive edge and market position
What youll bring:
Minimum eight years of program management experience, with a bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar degree or six years of program management experience with an MBA
Expertise in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile principles, and methodologies
Proficiency in project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance
Solid technical background to effectively communicate with technical team members and understand project complexities
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, and Target process, and version control systems like Git
Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address technical challenges
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and industry best practices
Ability to communicate project objectives, progress, risks, and issues clearly and concisely tailored to the audience's level of understanding
Ability to understand stakeholder needs, concerns, and feedback and incorporate insights into project planning and execution
What success looks like:
After six months, you will
Manage one Agile Release Train (ART)
Established relationships within Engineering, Product Management, and IT
Own the Change Management Review (CMR) process for your ART
Begin driving continuous improvement at the ART level
After About a Year, You Will
Become a certified SAFe Release Train Engineer
Perform regular assessments of how agile the teams are and drive improvements regularly
Over the first year, progressively take on a mentorship role, providing guidance and support to team members
Share your industry expertise and insights to help team members develop their skills and reach their career goals
