Key Performance Areas
As a Senior Sales Manager at Kovair, you will lead and manage a high-performing Sales team responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing enterprise-level deals. This is a. highly customer[1]facing role that requires not only a deep understanding of our product offerings and the ability to navigate complex sales processes with large organizations, but also effective people management and development capabilities. Your strategic vision and leadership will be instrumental in building and growing a successful sales team that drives revenue and client satisfaction.
Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance coaching to foster continuous growth and development.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute an effective enterprise sales strategy, aligning with overall company goals.Set clear objectives, KPIs, and sales targets for the team, and ensure their consistent achievement.
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Collaborate with your team to identify and target prospective enterprise clients through research, networking, industry events, and other relevant channels. Ensure a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
Consultative Selling: Guide your team in engaging with C-level executives and key decision-makers within enterprise organizations. Ensure solution presentations effectively address client needs and position our products as valuable solutions.
Solution Selling: Facilitate the articulation of the unique value proposition of our SaaS offerings, demonstrating how they align with clients strategic goals. Leverage deep product knowledge to provide insights and recommendations during client discussions.
Complex Deal Management: Oversee and guide your team in navigating the entire sales process for complex enterprise deals, involving multiple stakeholders and departments. Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and legal for seamless execution.
Partnership with Marketing: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts. Provide feedback on marketing campaigns, contribute insights for targeted outreach, and leverage marketing materials to enhance client engagement.
Negotiation and Contract Closure: Support your team in leading negotiations, creating proposals, and structuring contracts that align with both client requirements and company objectives. Ensure deals are closed by demonstrating the compelling ROI and long-term benefits of our solutions.
Relationship Building: Foster a culture of strong client relationships within your team. Encourage team members to serve as trusted advisors and points of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross[1]sell opportunities.
Market Insights: Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
Work Experience
12-15 years of proven enterprise sales experience within the SaaS industry, with a successful track record of closing high-value deals.
5 years of experience in people management and team leadership.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
Required skill-set
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience in Data Operations is a plus
